Percy Fairweather (Dennis Winters) and The Storm (Jamie Laritz) are Southern Blues Rockers that have been around for a long time, playing music and touring together for over 40 years. Dennis (Percy) is located just outside Nashville, in Nolensville, Tennessee. And Jamie (The Storm) is now in Ft. Myers, FL. Dennis and his brother Donnie formed The Winters Brothers Band in the 1970's. Recording for Atco/Atlantic Records.They played shows with EVERY Southern Rock band from The Allman Brothers to ZZ Top and multiple Blues Greats GATEMOUTH BROWN, FREDDY KING, ALBERT KING, AS WELL AS BB KING. Donnie left the Band in the mid 90's Dennis, song-writer, main vocalist and guitarist. Jamie Laritz is also song-writer, the lead-guitar player and vocalist on the rocken Blues cut GO WITH THE FLOW. Jamie is known for playing with Southern Rockers Black Oak Arkansas, Black Hawk as well as The Bret Michaels Band just to name a few. Bret Michaels recorded one of his albums at Jamie's recording studio, Dog Ear Studios in Nashville, Tennessee. REIGN OF BLUES was also recorded at Dog Ear, co-produced by Dennis and Jamie. Track 10 LESSON LEARNED is sung by Dennis' daughter Casey Winters, one right from the heart. Hannah Winters and Myles Clifton Dennis's grand kids,provide background vocals on that track as well as Dennis' other two daughters Cody and Carly Winters As you can see this is a real family project. The current single is track 2 WHEN YOU LOVE SOMEBODY. The new CD "Reign of Blues" has truely been a work of passion. A long road of ups and downs...and is being accepted exceptionally well in the Blues family as well as the entire industry. The process of booking the REIGN OF BLUES tour is currently underway.
